We collect basic account information such as your name and email address, along with limited transfer metadata (file size, upload time, retention period) required to operate the service, plus download activity details such as the downloader’s IP address for security and abuse prevention. We do not inspect or analyze file contents.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide secure file uploads and downloads
• Generate shareable links and PINs
• Enforce plan limits and display usage
• Communicate important service-related updates

Data Storage & Third-Party Services

TransferITly is built on trusted cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), to store and transfer data securely. Payment processing (when applicable) is handled by third-party providers such as Stripe, and TransferITly does not store your payment card details.

Security

All file transfers are encrypted in transit. Access to downloads is protected using time-limited signed URLs and mandatory PIN verification. Files are automatically deleted based on the retention period selected or your plan limits.

Data Retention & Deletion

Files and associated metadata are retained only for the duration selected at upload. Account information is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Children’s Privacy

TransferITly is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
